Four elements. One place.

A restaurant by day. An experience by night.

VODA simply means water. That's where it all starts: we're right on the Vistula, and the place looks a little different at every hour of the day.

But water is only one of four elements. There's fire, which lights up at weekends. There's earth, the kitchen, where the chef cooks the way he'd like to eat himself and small plates land in the middle of the table. And there's air, the atmosphere: the reason people stay longer than they planned.

Four elements, one place. Each of them is another reason to stay a little longer.

On the Vistula

WATER

The only place like it in Warsaw, right on the Vistula

This place changes with the time of day. Calm in the daytime; at sunset it takes your breath away, the sky changes colour and the lights reflect in the water. Easy-going and intimate by day, livelier in the evening, with music and good company.

  • A terrace overlooking the Vistula

Weekends

FIRE

Weekends at VODA

What we love most. The mood of the evening. Dinner turns into something more. A different spark and a different mood every week.

At weekends VODA fills with live music, performances and DJ sets: the things that make an evening special, memorable and never the same twice.

Kitchen

EARTH

A kitchen without borders

The kitchen is led by chef Michał Pezda, who doesn't look for inspiration in one place but gathers it on his travels. Every small plate is a map of his experiences: flavours that surprised him somewhere and that he wanted to bring to our table.

We cook what the chef would want to eat

The chef doesn't cook to please; he cooks by conviction. The plates carry what he would want to eat himself, with no compromises and no half-measures. That's why the menu has character and isn't afraid to be bold.

Why small plates

We want the evening to be something you share, not just something you eat. Small plates in the middle of the table make the food part of the conversation: you help yourselves, talk about it and go back for more of whatever you liked best.

It's a bit like a family table, where sharing food has always been the natural way to spend time together. We want to bring that same spirit to our restaurant, so the evening is shared rather than everyone sitting over their own plate.

  • Small plates for the middle of the table, to share
  • A menu built around the season
  • Produce from suppliers we know by name
  • An open kitchen, with fire as a method, not decoration

Atmosphere

AIR

You come for the food, you stay for the atmosphere

The things that aren't on the menu and don't show in photos. The music, the pace of service, the people at the next table, a conversation that doesn't want to end. Hardly anyone leaves and talks about a single dish. They talk about how it felt to be here. That's what we're after.
